Start with lived experience
Our founders are medical cannabis patients. Listening to real experiences helps replace assumptions with understanding.

GREATER MANCHESTER · GREEN DREAM
Patient-founded. Community-focused.
A place to belong.
A welcoming community lounge by day. A dedicated home for the medical cannabis patient community by evening. One shared space, with people at its heart.

OUR ROOTS. A WIDER WELCOME.
Green Dream began with a shared wish: a comfortable, supportive place for medical cannabis patients to meet without judgement. Our founders know first-hand the stigma, misunderstanding and isolation that patients can experience.
That purpose stays at our heart. We’re extending the same welcome to the wider community during the day — because everyone deserves connection, understanding and somewhere to feel at home.
ONE SPACE. TWO WELCOMES.
An alcohol-free daytime space for local adults. A cuppa, a conversation, free Wi-Fi and a comfortable place to spend some time.
Come as you are ↗6PM–10PM · VERIFIED PATIENTSA private, judgement-free evening environment for adults with their own legally prescribed cannabis-based medicines.
A community that understands ↗Closed 4pm–6pm for cleaning, restocking, administration, a team break and evening preparation.
COMMUNITY CONNECTION
You don’t need a big reason to spend time with other people. Sometimes a cup of tea and a chat can make all the difference.
Meet neighbours, build friendships and share experiences. From a quiet conversation to board games, relaxed social gatherings and community activities, there’s room for different ways of joining in.
Come with a friend or on your own. You’re welcome either way.
10AM–4PM · COMMUNITY LOUNGE
Free to enter. Alcohol-free.
Open to local adults.
Settle into a comfortable seat, use the free Wi-Fi, have something to drink or simply enjoy being around people. Think modern front room: relaxed, friendly and unhurried.
We particularly welcome older residents, people experiencing social isolation and anyone who could use some company. This is a shared adult space for a broad mixture of ages.
Around three hours is a fair-use guide, not a strict limit. If it’s quiet, there’s no need to feel watched or rushed. When it’s busy, please be mindful of others waiting for a seat. The Community Lounge closes at 4pm.

FREE DIGITAL SUPPORT DROP-IN
Our founders, in their 40s and 50s, will personally provide much of the daytime support. No classroom, no jargon, no charge — just practical help from one person to another.
Bring your device, tell us what you’re struggling with, and where we can help, we will.
Bring your own phone, tablet or laptop during Community Lounge hours.
SOMETHING FOR YOUR CUP
Affordable tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks help make a visit comfortable. Daytime entry is free; refreshments are purchased separately.
Green Dream is cashless. Top up your existing Green Dream prepaid token account electronically and use the balance for refreshments. 1 token = 1p.
No smartphone? No problem. A physical Green Dream membership/community card can be used with your account.
6PM–10PM · MEDICAL MEMBERS’ LOUNGE
Founded from lived experience.
Built on dignity and understanding.
Our evening lounge is a dedicated private members’ environment for adults who are legally prescribed cannabis-based medicines. Meet other verified patients, socialise and use your own prescribed medication in a comfortable, responsible and judgement-free setting.
We understand that a prescription can come with misunderstanding. Patients deserve dignity and should not be unnecessarily excluded from ordinary social life because their prescribed medicine happens to be cannabis.
Patient connection, responsible use and harm reduction remain central to Green Dream — alongside relaxed gatherings, shared experiences, games and peer support.
Medical Lounge access ↗EDUCATION & UNDERSTANDING
Our founders are medical cannabis patients. Listening to real experiences helps replace assumptions with understanding.
Supportive workshops, peer-led discussions and shared learning create space to ask questions about patient life, wellbeing and responsible use.
A prescribed medicine should not define someone’s place in a community. We encourage respectful conversation, dignity and inclusion.
MEMBERSHIP & ACCESS
Daytime Community Lounge entry and digital support are free. For verified adult medical patients, evening access is available in two ways.
Identity and prescription verification are required before Medical Lounge access. Contact the team to arrange joining and ask what to bring.
Ask about joining ↗One qualifying visit
Four weeks’ access
Pay £5 on four qualifying visits and your fourth payment activates a 28-day pass. Or choose the £20 pass from the start.
A 28-day / four-week pass — not a monthly subscription. Ask the team how qualifying visits are recorded.
LOOKING AFTER WHAT WE SHARE
Leave it as you found it.
Help us keep it available for everyone.
Small acts of care make this a place everyone can enjoy. Be considerate, look after the furniture and equipment, and help us keep the welcome warm.
Abusive, threatening, discriminatory or persistently disruptive behaviour will not be accepted. Deliberate damage, theft or serious misuse of the facility will result in access being withdrawn.
GOVERNANCE & TRANSPARENCY
Green Dream intends to operate as a Community Interest Company (CIC). The organisation exists for community benefit rather than maximising private profit.
Accountability, responsible operation, member privacy and transparent use of income are part of that commitment.
Income from medical lounge access, refreshments, activities and other legitimate sources helps meet the costs of premises, electricity, heating, water, insurance, staffing, cleaning, maintenance, equipment and community activities.
Any surplus is reinvested into the organisation and the community facility.
That means maintaining, improving and developing the space and its community services.
Ask us a question ↗Local adults of a broad mixture of ages. You do not need to be a medical cannabis patient to use the Community Lounge. Older residents and anyone experiencing isolation are particularly welcome, alongside anyone looking for a friendly space.

No. Green Dream does not sell or supply cannabis. Verified Medical Lounge members bring only their own legally prescribed medication. Evening access is a dedicated patient environment.
Medical Lounge Day Access is £5, or a 28 Day Pass is £20. If you pay £5 on four qualifying visits, the fourth payment activates a 28-day pass. The principle is: never pay more than £20 for 28 days’ access. Ask the team about the qualifying-visit record when you join.
Yes. Bring your own phone, tablet or laptop during daytime opening. The founders can help with everyday technology, online forms, scams, email, apps and understanding or using AI safely and practically. Where we can help, we will. There is no charge.
Identity and prescription verification support responsible Medical Lounge access. Contact the team for details of membership information handling and read the existing privacy policy.
Green Dream intends to operate as a Community Interest Company. We describe this as an intention, not completed registration. Any surplus is retained and reinvested into the organisation and community facility.
